    Maventure was created to welcome new students to the Maverick family by offering an opportunity to connect with fellow new students and learn more about UTA life and traditions in a fun and spirited environment. Maventure fosters connections with students, professors, administrators, and our UTA traditions. Plus, research confirms that students who get involved are more successful at UTA with higher-than-average GPAs and a higher student success rate than those who don’t attend.  

    Maventure Highlights:  

    • New Student Maventure: two-day event with an overnight stay in a UTA dorm 

    • Learn about UTA pride and traditions 

    • Participate in team-building activities with peers 

    • Hear tips about how to be successful in college from UTA faculty, staff, and current students  

    • Chill out or explore campus with fellow students – get to know Maverick Country  

    How to Register 

    1. Select a date on the calendar.
    2. Choose the selected "Maventure" date below the Legend.
    3. Complete and submit registration form.

    Cancelation Policy

    Students who wish to cancel their registration for Maventure must send a written cancelation confirmation email to Cancelations received less than 30 days in advance of the first day of your Maventure session will not be eligible for a refund.
