    Transfer Maventure

    Maventure was created to welcome new students to the Maverick family by offering an opportunity to connect with fellow new students and learn more about UTA life and traditions in a fun and spirited environment. Maventure fosters connections with students, professors, administrators, and our UTA traditions. Research confirms that students who get involved are more successful at UTA with higher-than-average GPAs and an overall higher student success rate than those who don’t attend.  

    Maventure Highlights:  

    • Transfer Maventure: one-day event on campus  

    • Learn about UTA pride and traditions 

    • Participate in team-building activities with peers 

    • Hear tips about how to be successful in college from UTA faculty, staff, and current students  

    • Chill out or explore campus with fellow students – get to know Maverick Country  


    How to Register 

    1. Select a date on the calendar.
    2. Choose the selected "Transfer Maventure" date below the Legend.
    3. Complete and submit registration form.


    Cancelation Policy

    Students who wish to cancel their registration for Maventure must send a written cancelation confirmation email to maventure@uta.edu. Cancelations received less than 30 days in advance of your Maventure session will not be eligible for a refund.
