Spring Counselor Webinar
Alrighty, see you.
We get to start.
OK, well, good morning everyone. Thank you so much for tuning into today's Spring Counselor webinar. We are so excited to have you all joining us today, wherever you may be joining us from. Umm, before we jump into today's presentation, we would like to do some quick introductions, uh, for our presenters. So I'll kick things off. My name is Patrick Jackson and I serve as the associate director of admissions here at UTA.
Hi, everyone. My name is Sandra Esquivel. I am the other Associate Director in the office. I'm the Associate Director for Regional Operations, Partnerships and Outreach for the Office of Admissions. Welcome.
Awesome, awesome. Thank you, Sandra. And again thank you all for tuning in to today's presentation. So we have a couple housekeeping things that we want to talk about real quick before we jump into the agenda. First and foremost, this presentation will be sent to you all later on today. So be sure to check your emails sometime later this afternoon. You will receive a copy of today's presentation. So if there are things that we may have.
Spoken today that you want to confirm on or some things that you have additional questions on. Don't worry, you'll get these slides later.
But also, if you happen to have any questions in real time about the content that we're getting ready to go over, we do have a live chat that's available for you to submit any questions. We do have staff members that are monitoring the chat, so if you do have questions, feel free to post those there. And then someone from our team will be responding to you shortly. Again, presentations will be sent out to you later today, but if you do have any questions, please submit those to the chat and we will be getting to those pretty soon.
So without further ado, we will go ahead and jump into today's agenda. So first and foremost, we'll be talking about admitted students. So many of you have a lot of UTA admitted students at your school, umm, that are having questions about what are their next steps to have a smooth transition to UTA. So we want to make sure that you are informed on all of those steps that they need to complete and how these students can be successful. And then after that, we're going to talk about the admissions information for.
25 and summer 2026, we'll talk about campus resources that are available for newly admitted students, and then we'll be sharing some opportunities for fee waivers for students.
OK, so steps to enrollment. So every newly admitted student has to complete several steps before they can enroll in any courses. So as you look at this slide, those steps include accepting their admissions decision, attending an advising appointment, completing their financial aid if they're interested in receiving financial aid, registering and attending a new Maverick orientation.
Completing their TSI clearance. Submitting a final copy of their high school transcript with their graduation date.
Submitting meningitis documentation and then last but not least, registering for classes. So in the next couple slides, we'll be talking more in depth about each of these items.
So that first step that students need to do is to officially accept their admissions decision. So students need to let the university know, uh, that they, uh, do plan on attending umm, at UTA. This is done in our student portal called My Math. So when students originally submitted their application to UTA, they received what's called a net ID and a password that allows them to log into their Mymap account, which is their student account here at UTA, umm, and when they log in once.
Admitted they have an option to accept their admissions decision. So as you see, UTA does not require a deposit or financial commitment. There are some institutions that require some type of financial commitment for you to acknowledge that you're planning on coming to to that university to reserve your spot. But here at UTA we do not require that. It is non binding. It's just your way of acknowledging that you do plan to come to the university. But let's say you do have a student that accepts their admissions.
But two months from now, something happens and they may decide to go to another institution or maybe they want to take a break on college for a semester. All they have to do is reach out to our admissions team to let us know if they're changed and we'll go ahead and update and update that in our system. So again, students need to accept their admissions decision. However, it is not binding. There is no financial, financial commitment.
OK, so we've talked about accepting the admissions decision. The next step that was on the uh, uh, list was accepting financial aid or scholarships. So many of our students have submitted either a FAFSA or TASFA application or they have applied for any of our merit based scholarships. And once those awards have been announced, students are notified via e-mail. Umm, and it's gonna be important that students are monitoring their e-mail and I'm gonna say.
E-mail account. So for all of the counselors that are on today, as you're speaking with students, please remind them to make sure that they're checking their UTA e-mail because most of our communications beyond the admissions process will be sent directly to their UTA e-mail, including their financial aid and scholarship packages. So as students receive those, they will log into their Mindmav account to see what's been awarded to them. So for financial aid, this could be a combination of grants.
Loans.
Work, study, things of that nature in various amounts. And then for scholarships, it could be any dollar amount that they have been awarded. So when they log into their My Math account, they will have a option to accept those aides. And as you meet with students and discuss this with them, please let them know that students again have the option to accept all or a portion of anything that's been awarded to them. So for scholarships and let's say for financial aid.
In work study, those are dollars that you do not have to pay back as a student, but any type of loan that's been awarded to students, those are dollars that students will have to pay back in the future. Umm, and again, students do not have to accept the full amount of anything that's offered to them. They can accept the portion. Umm, So just let them know that that's available. Umm, and I believe our counselors are gonna post the, the link for the step by step guide that walks them through that process of how to officially accept.
Their financial aid and scholarship packages.
OK. So we've talked about accepting your admissions decision. We've also talked about accepting financial aid and scholarships. And now we're jumping into the items that need to be completed before you actually attend new Maverick orientation. So for students that are under the age of 22, most of our high school students, you do have to provide vaccination of meningitis.
You have to complete your registration agreement, and the registration agreement is required for all students each semester as they prepare to enroll in classes.
Jocelyn Huang

Here is the step-by-step guide for accepting scholarships & financial aid: https://uta.service-now.com/selfservice?id=utassp01_kb_article&sys_id=65f23e84dbbfb7040ed7dbf0ce9619c6&catid=bfb229ce6fa8ee0028232d65ad3ee421&pageid=utassp02_kb_oit_knowledge_base&pslnkid=UTA_HOW_ACCEPT_AID_LNK.
So students will do this every semester, and it's just their way of acknowledging that they have read through all of the requirements to register for courses and that it will be their responsibility if they do enroll in courses to drop those classes if they so choose to.
TSI testing, checking their TSI status in their MYMAV account. So TSI is the Texas Success Initiative, which is a state law for all public institutions to determine college readiness for our students.
Luis Reyes
09:38:26 AM
When are financial aid packages going to be released to students?
So this will be in the areas of reading, writing, and math. So students need to provide either an exemption that they are complete in those areas or will need to complete a test to determine their college readiness. So there are three types of statuses for TSI. There is TSI liable, which essentially every student is TSI liable initially until we have received documentation that supports it.
TSI not complete, so that would be students who have submitted documentation.
Whether it be their transcript or their test scores or they have completed a test and based off of those results, they are either not complete in one area or all areas and then TSI complete. So those are students who have submitted documentation and they're either exempt from all three areas or they have completed the test and the test scores have shown that they are college ready in all three areas.
So for TSI liable, if a student is in that status, they cannot enroll in any courses.
At orientation, the goal is when you leave to have enrolled in courses. So please make sure as you speak with students that they're verifying their TSI status and that they're reaching out to UTA admissions to confirm them on how to submit those scores or if they have any questions.
A reminder, submitting official final transcripts. So our students will be graduating here in the next couple months, so please make sure that they are aware that they do need to submit a final copy of their high school transcript with that graduation date listed. You heard me mention earlier about a communications to your UTA e-mail account. I mean, if they have not activated that, please remind them to activate that. Umm, that is how they will be communicated throughout their time here at UTA.
Applying for university housing. So for any of our first year students, they do get priority housing placement, umm, as long as they submit their housing application before May 1st. So we're a little under a month from May 1st Umm, So if you have any students that are looking to live on campus, please encourage them to submit a housing application. Umm, I'm gonna ask our admissions team to post those links in the chat so that you have that information and just remind them that they do get priority housing, uh, bef, as long as they submit that before.
And last but not least, COM attending and advising appointments. So this will be an opportunity for students to meet with their academic advisor to discuss the courses that they will sign up for for their first semester. I'm here at UTA and your advisor is gonna be someone that you meet with on a regular basis. Each semester you're going to check in with them to assess how you did that previous semester and to determine what courses you want to take for the future semesters.
Niki Fisher
09:41:33 AM
Can you send the link for previously TSI scores to be released to UTA
OK, so we've talked about accepting admissions, we've talked about accepting financial aid and scholarships. We've also talked about the pre orientation to do things that you want to have completed before attending a new Maverick orientation. Now we're talking about the actual orientation event. So as I mentioned earlier, all newly admitted students to UTA have to attend a new Maverick orientation. It's an all day affair where you have the opportunity to learn more about the university, the culture of the.

When should our assigned campus Transfer Admission Counselors have lists of accepted students to share with us?
Seanjula Matthews
09:41:51 AM
Good morning, do you all provide TSIA testing on your campus?
You get to meet other students who are coming to UTA for the first time, as well as all of the campus resources that are available to you as a newly admitted maverick.
Tamia King
09:42:26 AM
The Financial Aid Office is currently reviewing FAFSA applications, as long as all required materials are turned in students can expect to receive their awards now, but it is also recommended that they reach out to fao@uta.edu to double check.
Registration is open now for new Maverick orientation and we have a variety of dates that students can choose from. So I'm going to ask the admissions team to drop that link here in the chat in a couple seconds. And counselors, if you can just let students know that the sooner that they complete their orientation, the sooner they can enroll in courses. And as I mentioned, we do have those dates available now and they run through late July. So if someone who is available in June to attend an orientation as long as they've completed.
Everything else, they can enroll in courses in June. Someone who doesn't go to orientation until July, they cannot enroll in courses until July. So it'll all be based off of their availability and when they can complete that as soon as possible. And then I'm gonna go ahead and reference the UTA e-mail once more. The registration invitation for orientation is sent to all newly admitted students to their UTA e-mail. However, it can also be found on the orientation website, which you all should have that link here in just a second.

More information on UTA Housing can be found here: https://www.uta.edu/campus-ops/housing
In addition to orientation, UMM Transition Bridge programs required for T3 scholars to assist with making that transition from high school to college. It is mandatory for all of our T3 students.

Will this presentation be sent out after the training?
Katie Blanton
09:43:29 AM
More information on orientation can be found here: https://www.uta.edu/student-affairs/orientation
OK, so we talked about all of the to do items for steps to enrollment. Now we're looking at campus resources. So what are some of the things that I, as a newly admitted student to UTA, can look forward to taking advantage of to assist me in my goal of completing my college degree? These are just a few of the many resources that we offer here at UT Arlington, and I'll start with the Career Development Center.
And for a lot of students, they look at the career development center as something that they do towards the back end of their college journey.
Jocelyn Huang
09:44:05 AM
@Niki yes the presentation will be sent to you via email after the event concludes!
They're getting ready to graduate now. They're thinking about career options. And I want to let you all know, counselors, that we encourage all newly admitted students, the moment that they become admitted to UTA and the moment that they begin courses is the moment that they can start taking advantage of the Career Development Center. And they provide a variety of services. You can get assistance on how to create a resume, you can get assistance on.
Interview techniques They provide several career fairs throughout the years where you have an opportunity to.
Meet different companies and employers to learn about job opportunities as well as internship opportunities. So those are things that students will want to take advantage of the moment that they start here at UTA.
Tutoring and academic success coaching sessions. So free tutoring is available to all students. I mean, this is something that we also encourage students to take advantage of the moment that they start classes here. And we offer tutoring in a variety of subjects and most of the time those tutors are students who have successfully completed those courses that our students are looking for assistance in. So be sure to take advantage of that if you're someone who needs assistance in a particular subject area or you just want to get.
Are at it in general.
Jocelyn Huang
09:45:25 AM
@Seanjula yes! UTA does host the TSIA assessment on campus. You can learn more here: https://www.uta.edu/student-success/tsi.
Counseling and Psychological services. So here at UTA we call it CAPS and we offer individual counseling sessions to students who may be experiencing personal emotional and behavioral difficulties. So some common concerns include adjustment to college, that transition to being successful whether you're coming from high school to college or if you're coming from A2 year or four year to a new university we offer.
Uh, consultations on those conversations.
Maverick Pantry so committed to creating and maintaining equitable access to food and essential items so that all members of the university community can thrive academically, personally, and professionally. So any students who need assistance with food items, we do have those items available in our Maverick Pantry. If we have any parent Mavericks, so any students who are parents, and we provide a lot of items for babies, whether it's formula or diapers, we have those items available.
Maverick Pantry and we also provide assistance in the form of caps and gowns. So as you see on the screen in front of you our students who are celebrating their graduation, if you are someone who maybe cannot afford your cap and gown, we do have some of those available in our Maverick Pantry.
Our Maverick Activity Center, that is our live gym facility, so that is where students go to workout, exercise, take fitness courses and just socialize. And it's one of our most popular places on campus where students can interact, umm, and mingle.
Our student access and Resource Center. So any student who may need accommodations for their subjects or exams or anything related to their academics, we do have dedicated staff that can walk you through how to get those.
Situations taken care of.
Here at UTA, we encourage students to take advantage of all of the things available to them, and that includes being actively involved on campus. So as you can see, we offer over 300 student organizations and those include your fraternities and sororities. We also have academic honor societies. And then we also have many organizations that just fit your general hobbies and social interest. And one of the things we love here at UTA is that.
If there is an organization that does not exist here at ETA.
Aisha Merced
09:47:57 AM
Who are the T2 scholars?
As long as you can get six to eight people with you, you can create that organization here at UTA, and that's how we've gotten to 300. Many students saw things of need here at UTA and then they created those organizations themselves. So it's pretty cool here and we enjoy that and we encourage our students to take advantage of the many organizations that we have available.
Dariela Gonzalez
09:48:23 AM
@Aisha T3 Scholars are students that are a part of the Tarrant To & Through program. A partnership with Tarrant County.
OK, that was just a little bit about campus resources and a reminder, our newly admitted students, when they attend new Maverick orientation, they're going to learn about the campus resources there as well. But now we're gonna transition to our rising seniors. So these are our current juniors in high school. So this is some advice for you, counselors, for our rising seniors and what they can do to be successful over the next 12 to 15 months.
Karen Moser
09:48:34 AM
https://t3partnership.org/
So the first thing that we want to encourage them to do is attend College Prep Day. So this will be on July the 25th, UMM and this is opportunity for students to come to UTA.
Karen Moser
09:48:41 AM
https://www.uta.edu/admissions/partnerships/t3
And learn all about the insurance and outs of the admissions process, how to successfully submit an application. They will learn about financial aid and scholarship opportunities and many ways to fund your college education. And then they will also be able to meet and speak with current students who have successfully navigated the college admissions process. It can also provide them guidance on what they did to be successful their first years here at UTA. So that's something that we encourage you all to share with your students so that they can attend that event.
Successfully become a UTA Maverick here in the future.
Katie Blanton
09:49:18 AM
@Joan We do not have a timeline confirmed at this time, but please email utaadmissions@uta.edu and we will send an update as soon as possible!
Another thing we want to recommend for students is as they begin to submit their applications, you can submit the application on either the Common App, which is our preferred method, or apply Texas for both websites. Our applications for Fall 2026 should be open. Keywords should be open on August 1st. It's usually the beginning of August every year, so if students are looking to apply early.
Encourage them to check August 1st for a common app and apply Texas.
Joan Gomez-Ghannou
09:49:53 AM
@daniela are T3 transfer students required to attend the bridge program as well?
We also encourage students to take the SAT and ACT over the summer or in the early fall semes Fall semester. Reasons for taking the SAT and ACT is for opportunities for scholarships for admissions. We are test optional so an SAT or ACT score is not required for admissions. However, for any of our merit based scholarships you do have to have an SAT or ACT test score on file and the perks to taking the test.
Is the opportunity to combine test scores that you may have taken previously. So here at UTA we do super score. So if you have a student who's taking the SAT, uh, two or three times and on one occasion they scored high in the reading section but not in the math section. And then the next time they took it, they scored high in the math section, but not the reading section. We will take the higher score for each section and combine that So that's one of the benefits to taking the SAT and ACT early on because you get the.
Opportunity to see where you stand and then if you need to take it again, you have that time to take it again before our scholarship deadline.
Next thing we encourage Verizon students is register and attend a campus tour. So before you invest in an education and before you begin your college journey, step foot on the campus and see what that campus has to offer for you. This is something I encourage all students to do so that they can see themselves thriving here at the University of Texas at Arlington. We also encourage you to connect with your admissions counselor.
Every student that is looking to apply to UTA has a dedicated admissions counselor.
So connect with them, learn about the requirements, and learn how you can work with them to have a successful year at the university. Attend Maverick Experience during their senior year. So Maverick Experience is our largest admissions event. It's exactly what the title states, it's the UTA Maverick Experience. So this is an opportunity for students to come out on typically a Saturday for about four to five hours to learn all about the UTA culture.
That includes a welcome from our admissions team, an opportunity to go to an academic information session, so that's where you'll learn more about your particular program of interest. You'll have the opportunity to attend financial aid and scholarship sessions. You can visit several of our residence halls. If you're looking to live on campus, there's a Student Resource Fair where many student organizations will be available to showcase their information to you.
And then last but not least, you can take a campus tour at Maverick Experience as well.
So the goal is when you leave that event, you will leave seeing yourself there in the future being successful.
Aisha Merced
09:52:39 AM
Can parents attend the Maverick Experience event as well?
Karen Moser
09:52:55 AM
@aisha - Yes!
Self report academic records. So the schwar is something that we also encourage students to take advantage of. So students can submit their academic records one, uh, two ways. They can submit an official copy of their transcript or they can self report their academic record. So this is something that we just started this year and this is something that we're going to continue to do and we encourage our rising seniors to take advantage of that.
Last but not least, look at the scholarship opportunities that we have available in Math Scholarship. So math scholarship is our scholarship database.
Karen Moser
09:53:21 AM
https://www.uta.edu/admissions/events/maverick-experience
And it's a little bit different from the merit based scholarships that I mentioned earlier. Our merit based scholarships go specifically on test scores, class ranking, and GPA in math scholarship. There are an abundance of scholarships that students can apply for that will look at a variety of factors. They'll look at GPA. They will require essays. Sometimes they will require personal statements.
They will require let letters of recommendations.
And then there will be some scholarship opportunities where all you have to do is provide your information, your first and last name, your intended major, and what are your career goals. So encourage students to visit the website. They will create a profile and based off of the profile, they will be matched with scholarship opportunities. So if I was a business student and I created a profile on math scholarship, as business scholarships became available, I would get notified that.
These are opportunities that I can take advantage of.
OK. So we talked about advice for our rising seniors, and we're going to continue that conversation with fee waiver events. So here at UTA, to apply for admissions, you have to submit an application, submit a copy of your transcript, and then you have to pay an application fee of $75 unless you have a fee waiver. So we provide fee waivers by attending any of the following UTA admissions events. So College Prep Day, which I just mentioned, is going to be on July 20.
5th, all students who attend that event will have the opportunity to receive a fee waiver. Any students that are transferring from A2 year or four year, we provide something that's called ticket to transfer where you get the opportunity to connect with our transfer admissions team and take a campus tour and those are available in the summer, fall and spring semesters. We have something that's called Scholarship and Financial Aid Night, which is exactly what the street title states. You will come and learn about our merit based.
Aisha Merced
09:55:27 AM
Is there a deadline for the scholarships on the scholarshop? Do students have to apply by a certain time to qualify for merit aid?
Opportunities, you will learn about our FAFSA and TASFA applications and then also about our Blaze Forward program, which we'll talk about here in a couple seconds. Maverick experience, you heard me mention and then we have something that's called Maverick roundups and that's where we take the UTA experience throughout the state of Texas.
So let's say you can't attend any of the UTA events that you just saw on the screen before. Umm, there are other ways that you can qualify for a fee waiver. So looking on the left hand side, uh, for any freshman or transfer students, an undergraduate application fee waiver will be applied if students meet any of the following eligibility requirements. And I will let you all take a moment to either take a picture of this or.
Uh, read this information in greater detail and just a reminder, this will be sent to you.
Dariela Gonzalez
09:56:40 AM
@Joan T3 Transfer students are not required to attend summer bridge by UTA.
But through SAT and ACT, students can qualify for a fee waiver, umm, or through NACAC. And for any of those fee waivers, there is additional documentation that needs to be provided. So if a student's gonna use the UH, SATACT or NAC fee waiver, just make sure that everything is signed before that they submit it. For students that have applied for FAFSA and are eligible to receive a Pell Grant, they must provide a copy of their most recent FAFSA submission summary that will also.
Jocelyn Huang
09:56:51 AM
@Aisha Scholarships in Mav ScholarShop will have various deadlines. It will depend on which scholarship the student is applying for! You can access the opportunities here: https://uta.scholarships.ngwebsolutions.com/CMXAdmin/Cmx_Content.aspx?cpId=1682
Make them eligible for a fee waiver and then if their annual income falls within the USDA Food and Nutrition Service or a free or reduced lunch program. And then you can see several other ways that you can, uh, receive a fee waiver. Whether you've served in the military, umm, your family receives public assistance, or you're currently homeless or in foster care. All of those options or, uh, eligibility requirements will make you, uh, available to receive a fee waived.
And justice, a reminder, official documentation must be provided to support that request.
And I just want to reiterate, uh, as you see on the right hand side, umm, accelerated online, umm is our online nursing program and students who are completing that or a part of the CAP program, or if you're a transient student or a student that's pursuing a second bachelor's degree, umm, you are unable to qualify for a fee waiver.
Jocelyn Huang
09:57:46 AM
The merit based scholarship deadlines will be March 1st! You can get more info here: https://www.uta.edu/administration/fao/scholarships
OK, so as you can see on the screen in front of you, umm, these are the steps to request the fee waiver officially. So students should first select fee waiver on their applied taxes application and then demonstrate financial hardship by one of the following options. So those options that I just shared in the screen before you, they would select any of those options and then provide documentation to support.
Uh, them selecting that option.
So I'll pause for a second and let you all, uh, read through this.
And just a reminder again for this, this is a a key step for a lot of our students in getting their applications processed. They need to provide official documentation of those things.
OK, that is my time. I will now turn it over to, uh, my colleague Sandra, who will begin talking about the Blaze Forward program.
Thank you, Patrick. I appreciate that.
OK.
We are partnered with Dallas Promise, Red River Promise, Texoma Promise and Tarrant to and Through, also known as T3 these Promise partnerships.
UMM are a coalition of high school and community colleges to make a bachelor's degree affordable. Our first year graduates from any of these participating partnered high schools or transfer students with an associate's degree from Dallas College, TCC, NCTC, or Grayson that meet eligibility requirements may receive funding through UT as Blaze Forward program.
The Blaze Forward program provides students with funding to cover the cost of classes, which is tuition through a combination of Federal Pell Grants, Texas Grants, UTA grants, and scholarships. So what is the Blaze Forward program? The Blaze Forward program provides students with funding to cover 100% of their tuition and course fees through a combination of everything I just said, the Federal Pell Grant, the Texas Grant, ETA Grant, and scholarships as you can see on the screen to be eligible.
For the Blaze Forward program, students must meet the following criteria. They must be a Texas resident paying in state tuition. You need to qualify for the Federal Pell Grant and or the Texas Grant, which are both awarded based on financial need. Your family income must be 100,000 or less annually. You also must be enrolled as a full time student taking at least 12 undergraduate credit hours.
Umm, for the semester. As you can see, the Blaze Forward program is designed to remove financial barriers, allowing eligible students to focus on their studies without the burden of tuition costs, enabling a path to graduation with less student debt.
OK, now let's move forward and let's talk about. In order to make the most of a financial aid and scholarship opportunities available, it is crucial to be aware of the key deadlines. Here on the screen is an overview of the important details for the scholarship and financial aid at uta scholarship deadlines umm the presidential honors and presidential scholarship These are procedure scholarships that support.
Are high achieving students. The deadline to apply for both is March 1st. Be sure to submit UMM or have your students submit their applications on time next year to be considered for these opportunities. UMM if you're an incoming academic student or a transfer student. We also have the Maverick Academic and Transfer Scholarship and both could provide our students with significant financial assistance. Again, the deadline is for March 1st.
The FAFSA priority deadline or priority date is essentially to determine your eligibility for financial aid and certain institutional scholarships. So also make sure that your students submit all of this next year by March 1st.
For place Forward, it is the same thing to make again here at UTA, we just left March 1st. I think it was to make it easier for all the students to know that their deadline is all on the same day. So make sure that our students are doing their applications, filling out their financial aid, answering any emails that they get from the financial aid office to verify any, any documents that they need to send off. So everything has to be completed by the 1st if you're interested in the Blaze Forward program.
Again, if you have any questions, please feel free to put it in the chat. We have somebody there to help answer all the questions.
In moving forward to making sure our rising juniors are knowing what UMM our campus looks like, we offer personalized tour options for groups, ensuring that your students have the opportunity to explore our campus and learn more about what UTA has to offer. If you scan the QR code, you can sign up for one of our tours. For groups of 10 to 50 students, we do provide guided tours. These tours are led by Knowledgeable.
UTA Student Tour guides who will walk your group through key areas of campus, providing insights into student life, academic programs and more. It's a great way for smaller groups to get a personalized experience for your For your groups and students that are 50 or more, we do offer self-guided tours. These allow your group to explore the campus at your own pace with the help of a digital guide or a map. While there's no tour guide leading the group.
Have access to all the important information to ensure a thorough experience. To schedule either a guided or a self-guided tour, simply visit the UTA Admissions website or contact our Welcome Center for availability. Be sure to book in advance, especially during peak tour seasons. While group tours are a great way for students to explore UTA together, we also encourage you to encourage your students to schedule a personalized tour.
On their own time and with their family, this gives them the flexibility to focus on the area of campus that they're interested in. If students do want to UMM book a personalized tour, students can easily book that UMM through again through our UTA website, selecting the time that works best for them. Whether they prefer a guided tour or self-guided tour, the process is simple and convenient. We do recommend students book at least two weeks in advance to secure their preferred tour time and date. So again, the QR code.
On the Screen does help you book a group tours and for students who want to book their own tour it is just on our website.
Were you aware that UTA has three convenient locations where you can connect with our admissions team and get the support that you need? Whether you're on our main campus here in Arlington or in Dallas or Fort Worth, we're ready to help you every step of the way. Our main campus has our admissions office, which is right located right in Arlington, offering in person support to prospective students and families. Whether you're looking for information on applying, scholarships, or campus life, our team is here.
To assess, our Dallas recruitment office is located at a central spot in Dallas, right on the corner of Stemmons Freeway and Mockingbird Lane, on the 11th floor of the building shown in this picture. This location is perfect for students in the Dallas area looking to connect with an admissions team without having to come all the way to Arlington.

Will priority dates always be on March 1st of each year?
And at UTA Fort Worth, our office is located in the Santa Fe Building in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, right next to the bus and train station. This office is ideal for students in the Fort Worth area and is easily accessible for those using public transportation.
No matter which location you visit, our offices are open eight to five, so please feel free to drop by or schedule an appointment to meet with our admissions team again, I believe that with our three convenient locations, we can help your student and yourself get more information, umm as easy as you know and help you explore your future at UTA.
This summer, we're bringing back an event that we started a couple of years ago, which is our Summer Connect. We know that the summer months can be a time when students and family may feel disconnected from their college admission process.
Which can sometimes lead to summer melt when students who are accepted to college don't follow through with enrollment. UMM, we know that we have to help combat this, so we're hosting our Summer Connect event at both our Dallas and Fort Worth locations to provide continued support to students and their families. At our Dallas location, UMM, we will start every Tuesday and Thursday be open from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. That way we can meet with families helping them.
Any, anything that they have on their application to answering questions on next steps for the fall semester. So this will begin on June 3rd through July 31st at our Fort Worth office. We will be there same dates, June 3rd through the 31st, except our office hours will be from 9:00 to 7:00 UMM during the same days. We are here to help you complete your enrollment process, answering questions about financial aid, housing registration, UMM, and help you just stay.
With everything you need to do before the semester starts.
Now connect with us, stay informed and get involved. We want to stay connected with you and keep you up to date on everything happening at UTA. By filling out our our our outreach form. You can join our newsletter list and access a variety of helpful resources through our outreach form. You can request swag, especially our alumni that are out there. We want to make sure that.
Offices and classrooms are filled with UTA pride. If you need more information on visits, you can do that through our outreach form. We have begin workshops that are on the spot admissions for our surrounding schools. We are more than happy to schedule something like this with your school. Please reach out to us through this form and decision days are coming up. I can't believe we're almost there.

For your students.
Please note that September to November and February to April all our peak times for our counselors. Since they are traveling to recruit students during these months, we may be limited to our availability for any additional visits, so we again encourage you to reach out early to book events or request resources.
Don't hesitate to connect with us, we're here to help you with every step of the way.
OK, I hope that many of you have joined us in the past, but we are excited to invite you to our Counselor luncheon here at the University of Texas at Arlington. This event is a wonderful opportunity for our high school counselors, college advisors, and any other education professional to connect with our admissions team and learn more about our program and resources.
This year it's going to be Friday, August 22nd at the University of Texas in Arlington. It will be at our Rio Grande Ballroom. The luncheon will be held on our beautiful campus and that also gives you a chance to explore our facilities, meet faculty and staff, and network with other education professionals.
This isn't, like I said, an excellent opportunity to stay up to date with any of Utas latest initiatives, admission updates, and student support services. It also provides invaluable insights into our academic programs, our scholarship opportunities, student life, and anything else that you can just go back and share with your students. Plus, again, it's a great way to network with our counselors and.
Just continue to foster that ongoing collaboration.

@patrick @sandra the event is closed
I'm not seeing any more questions coming in through the chat, so I'm gonna take silence as a good sign. It means that we answered all your questions. I'm gonna go ahead and and assume that was the case, and if not, again, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for any clarification on anything that was shared today. But unless anyone has any questions, this is the conclusion of today's webinar, so you all are free to leave.
Inside Out and we look forward to working with you further in the future. I mean, we look forward to seeing you all here Friday, August the 22nd.
Thank you.
